Boy Scouts Save A Life

Ann Curry, former co-anchor of "The Today Show," was rescued from a New York mountain by Boy Scouts after she broke her ankle, according to the blog Bryan on Scouting, part of Scouting Magazine. Ann Currywas hiking with her husband and son at Harriman State Park, which is about 30 miles north of New York City, when she injured herself. Luckily, a troop of New Jersey boy scouts, found her on their way to wherever they were going.

Their adult leader, Rick Jurgens, said they came to a trail intersection and a lady was sitting n the ground with her leg out. Luckily, when one of the boys asked if everything was ok, Ann Curry replied, stating that she thought her annkle was broken. If he hadn;t asked tht question, they would've left her there without any questions asked. They splinted up her ankle perfectly due to their training from Jurgens. They neever did realize they were helping out a celebrity. Ann Curry is the co-anchor for The Today Show.

This goes to show that there are still good people in the world. Despite all the bad things our world might experience, a little act of kindness can go a long way. It makes me happy to know there is still good out there.
